DOUBLE BAY

This project saw the reinvention of a tired and outdated courtyard space as well as adding street appeal and some much needed greenery to the front facade of this Double Bay duplex. The brief was to create a relaxing, low maintenance and sophisticated landscape that can be enjoyed all year round.

The design intent was to create a modern Australian cottage garden that embraced the heritage of the site, reconnected the home to the outdoor spaces and invited the local bird and wildlife to return. With an emphasis on native plants, materials that evoke the Australian narrative, herbs and vegetables as well as water features to create serenity.
